Gordon Graydon’s Model UN Club recently attended the Southern Ontario Model United Nations Conference (SOMA), which ran from Wednesday April 19th to Friday April 21st. SOMA is an annual assembly of various Model United Nations student groups from high schools all around Canada and the US. The event was hosted by the University of Toronto and organized by university students.
Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary School celebrated the International Day of Pink, a movement dedicated to eradicating bullying and harassment at schools all over the world.
On Friday, April 7th, students from Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary School attended the second annual Aspiring Young Doctors conference, known as AYDx. Hosted at St. Francis Xavier Secondary School, the event was organized by the Aspiring Young Doctors club of Gordon Graydon in collaboration with St. Francis Xavier Secondary School.
Dear Gordon and Graydon,
Since the school is closing, those of us in Grade 9 are going to have to leave for a new school after grade 10. In our short time here though, I’ve become so accustomed to Gordon Graydon that I’ll hate to leave the place where I’ve got all my friends, activities, and my favourite teachers.
From March 29th to 31st, secondary school students from all across the Peel District School Board voted for their student trustees. Ultimately, Carolyn Mahr and Khushpal Pawar were elected as student trustees for the 2017-2018 school year after a long and grueling campaign.
