Electric School Busses Coming to Ontario

The government of Ontario has announced its intention to implement electric school busses in the province. Electric vehicles have been growing in popularity for the past few years, and that enthusiasm has spread to school busses. In fact, there are currently 100 electric school busses in use across North America, including Quebec.

Graydon Elects SAC President Selvakumar, Vice Presidents Chauhan and Mann

Sajithan Selvakumar was elected the President of the Student Activity Council on Monday, June 5th, succeeding current President Mehwish Siddiqui. His one-year term will begin next year.

Sajni Chauhan and Manjinder Mann were also elected to the two positions of Vice President, and will succeed current Vice President Tanvi Mehta. Their one-year terms will begin next year as well.

Tanvi Mehta was appointed to the position of Secretary. Faraz Ali was appointed to the position of Treasurer. Adrian Wu and Frances La were appointed to the dual positions of Marketing Director.

 

Graydon Students Get Ready for a Historical Last Election Season

This year marks Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary School’s last year for Student Activity Council elections. There were a record-breaking 34 applications submitted for next year’s executive positions, but the Council managed to whittle it down to just a few key candidates for the position of President and the two positions of Vice President.
