Every fall, high school seniors throughout the world begin their long, grueling journey towards higher education. Many of them fret over their admissions essays and worry about whether they’ll get accepted into their dream school. But, more than anything else, these students are most concerned about the rising cost of tuition and the student loans they’ll have to take out to pay for their degrees.
Students from all across Ontario recently attended the Study and Go Abroad Fair, which was held on Sunday, October 1st, 2017 from 12 PM to 5 PM at the downtown Metro Convention Centre, right beside the CN Tower. The fair featured dozens of different universities, colleges, and schools from all over the world, and also hosted multiple presentations and seminars.

Gordon Graydon’s Model UN Club recently attended the Southern Ontario Model United Nations Conference (SOMA), which ran from Wednesday April 19th to Friday April 21st. SOMA is an annual assembly of various Model United Nations student groups from high schools all around Canada and the US. The event was hosted by the University of Toronto and organized by university students.
